Introduction to Engineering @ SEGi

The Faculty / School of Engineering focuses on a student centered environment, where students interact with teaching staff from Malaysia as well as staff from our partner universities world wide. Students have access to work in technically advanced laboratories and workshops providing them with the essential tools in the development of engineering skills. The programmes are delivered using applied methodologies and state-of-the-art engineering facilities.

SEGi offers an impressive range of engineering disciplines from Foundation and Diploma through to Bachelor and Master degrees in disciplines including chemical engineering, electrical & electronic engineering and mechanical engineering. Its engineering students have gone on to write many success stories and the Faculty is proud to count more than 200 students who obtained First Class Honours in engineering from top-notch universities worldwide.

SEGi University College boasts a Mechanical Engineering Laboratory which is well-equipped with facilities required to provide students with knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Chemical Engineering Laboratory

A modern Chemical Engineering Laboratory provides students with the facilities to explore physical, chemical and/or biological changes in raw materials.

Electronic & Electrical Engineering Laboratories

Modern Electronic & Electrical Engineering Laboratories are equipped with the latest electrical and electronic systems required to give students an understanding of the field.

Thermodynamics & Heat Transfer Laboratory

Equipped with the latest apparatus, the Thermodynamics & Heat Transfer Laboratory boasts a Heat Exchanger Training Apparatus, Heat Conduction Apparatus, Refrigeration Trainer, Air-conditioning Module and Marcet Boiler.

Computer Laboratories

Numerous Computer Laboratories with high speed Internet access and the latest software are available to students. The latest technological equipment provides students with research opportunities to advance their studies.

High Speed Internet Access & Wi-Fi

Computer Laboratories are available for student use and are equipped with high speed Internet access. Students with notebooks can also take advantage of the wireless environment on the campuses.

Learning Materials Available Online

Living up to its standards as an e-campus, SEGi University College has most of its learning materials online so students can access library materials and tutorials via the student portal (SEGi2U).
