| SEGi has five training centres which are approved by the Ministry of Human Resources Department of Skills Development (JPK). They are located throughout Malaysia, namely in Seri Kembangan, Pulau Indah, Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Kuching. SEGi firmly believes that vocational training is important in complementing academic programmes. As such, much emphasis is placed on actual practical application of what is taught in the classrooms. SEGi Training Centres have also established strong relationships with industry giants such as Karangkraf, PROTON and 5-star hotels as well as many organisations within IT and construction industries, thus providing students the necessary industrial training. Students also study additional modules such as Computer Application, English, Entrepreneurship, Character Building and Islamic Studies to enhance them with the skills and knowledge required to address industry needs. SEGi Training Centres currently offer vocational and training programmes in civil draughting, aircondition maintenance, electronic servicing, information systems, computer programming, multimedia design, graphic design, beauty therapy, tourism, food and beverage service, administration and automotive technology. |
