SEGi College Seri Kembangan bagged a total of 4 wins in the Food & Hotel Malaysia 2011 competition held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 20 to 24 September 2011. Of the A total 7 students and 2 lecturers who took part, they took home 2 bronze medals and 2 Diplomas.

Participants who score more than 70 points are awarded diplomas. Mohd. Fairus bin Mustapha won the bronze medal for the Open Plate Dish category while Muhammad Amir Hisyam won the bronze for Hot Cooking. Dzul Fadzli won a diploma for the Apprentice 4 Course set menu category and Muhammad Azizul for the Hot Cooking Category.

The Food & Hotel Malaysia 2011 (FHM) series has earned the title "Malaysia's Official Food and Hotel Show" with the succession of shows since its inception in 1993. It is by far the most diverse and complete exhibition with participations from major players of the Food &Beverage and Hospitality industries. This competition was divided into four categories: Truly Malaysia Platter, Open Plate Dish, Apprentice 4-Course Set Menu and Hot Cooking.

Students and lecturers hope that joining this FHM competition would help to kick-start their career, for FHM 2011 serves as the perfect platform for exposure to F& B and Hospitality industry players as well as a great place for establishing camaraderie with industry experts from all around the world.
