Description

Founded in 1973 as a non-profit organisation, ABE aims to advance the efficient management of the commerce industry through developments in the study and practice of this field. A market leader in cost-effective management education today, its prime objective is simply: more effective managers.

An ABE award can lead to professional qualifications, or higher education. Some students use it as a diagnostic tool to avoid early specialisation; they can decide later to specialise in IT, accountancy, marketing, finance or human resource management, or in any further studies of their choice. For example, the ABE Advanced Diploma can be used as an access route to the final year of an undergraduate degree. With relevant work experience, it can also lead to an MBA course.

Career Opportunities

Upon graduation, students may apply to your choice of university or professional institute to get your first degree, MBA, or other professional qualification. In some countries, you may be eligible for funding.

Typically, holders of the ABE Diploma can gain entry to the second year of a degree, while Advanced Diploma holders can gain entry to the final year of a degree. Students who discontinue study at this point will still have a valuable qualification which is recognised by employers.

Entry Requirements

To gain direct entry into the ABE Diploma programme, candidates need 2 STPM with 4 SPM credits (inclusive of English and Mathematics).

SPM holders will first need to complete an external foundation course, the Certificate In Business, which consists of 4 basic subjects.
