Description

The Certificate in Music serves as a foundation course for music enthusiasts who wish to study the Diploma in Music, but either have not had the chance or sufficient prior training in reading and notating music as well as in the practical performance of music. It lays the foundation in mastering basic comprehension of music theory, in acquiring aural and sight-reading skills, music appreciation, score reading, writing about music as well as in developing choral and practical techniques for the performance of music.

Career Opportunities

Upon completing these 6 broad categories of fundamental music training in 4 semesters, the students may progress to the Diploma in Music with SEGi College Subang Jaya.

Entry Requirements

  • SPM/O-Level with at least pass 1 subject or equivalent;
  • Any other certified qualification or equivalent by Malaysian Government;
  • Pass in interview/ aptitude test or portfolio assessment for those without Visual Arts in SPM.
